I booked my trip for Africa this afternoon :D:D:D Yay! I leave August 22nd and come back on Sept. 13th. I have a couple of longish lay-overs, the longest being in Johannesburg for like 16 hours. I'm thinkin of going to a hostel, but I would feel much safer staying in a hotel... hey isn't Johannesburg supposed to be great for shopping ;)
Yay! other than that, no real news, mind you that is pretty big!

So exciting!!! I wish I were going somewhere... the furthest I might get is to Drumheller (I'm planning on taking some geo-related mini-trips - ie: weekends - in Alberta this summer, if I can).
You'll have to tell us all about it when you get back. I expect lots of pictures!
Niki - I've been to Drumheller! It was really cool. We got to look for fossils and stuff, plus the badlands are really pretty... hope you have fun out there too! :o)
