watched it at 4am last night. didn't quite make it to the end. i *love* george.

i'm slightly saddened that terry fox didn't win. however, i am pleased that douglas won :)

I voted like 2 times, both for pearson. I lost interest quickly and didn't watch all the biographies about everyone, but from my limited knowledge, I would have picked fox over douglas myself.

I was actually kind of shocked that douglas was in the top 10 to start off with, I think George must have done a really good job advocating for him. I heard some of the clips from sunday night, and one thing stuck in my mind "canadians will give away anything, it is in our nature, but no one would give away their health card" or something along those lines, makes you think...

(I like pearson for his UN peace keeping stuff, I think he was our best prime minister, trudeau was good too, but he alienated to many canadians.)
